How will I know if my application is successful?
We’ll let you know if you qualify within 5 working days of receiving your application. We might need you to send us some photocopies of documents to support your application. We’ll apply the £150 to your meter within 6 weeks of you sending us these. If we don’t need any photocopies, we’ll apply the amount 6 weeks after your application is successful.
What if I don’t agree with your decision?
We can only base our decision on the information you give us. If you think you’ve made a mistake, you can apply again. We may need more supporting evidence if
your answers change.
The Scottish “Broader Group” Warm Home Discount is distributed on a first come first serve basis. Ofgem decides the number of rebates we can provide
based on our market share.
Does the Warm Home Discount apply to gas?
It’s a discount for your electricity bill. If you’re a dual fuel customer, you can choose to add it to your gas meter balance when you apply.
